“Fear turns what is sacred into a threat. When you look your own wild nature in the eyes without flinching, the barrier dissolves—be aware, never afraid.”
Inhabit maps the moment fear gives way to recognition. A stone-textured figure meets the gaze of a golden viper coiled around a tree, not as prey confronting danger, but as a conscious being entering relation with the sacred and unknown. The butterfly at the collarbone signals transformation, while raw concrete, recycled paper, and radiant oil color bring the body into material continuity with its surroundings. By refusing the instinct to withdraw, the figure dissolves the imagined boundary between human and wild. To inhabit the self fully, the work suggests, is to meet one’s instinctual nature with awareness rather than fear.
