Artistic Concept & Vision
“My Kids” is a heartfelt sculptural tribute — a mixed-media artwork that brings together twelve individually crafted clay figures, symbolizing the client’s grandchildrens. Each figure, sculpted in clay and mounted along a sleek, industrial-style metal beam, is a unique celebration of personality, memory, and emotional connection. The balanced tension between the rawness of metal and the organic softness of clay mirrors the contrast between strength and tenderness inherent in familial bonds. 

This piece transforms a static sculpture into a poetic visual narrative. Each figure, though part of a collective, is distinct—reflecting the individuality of each son and daughter through carefully selected colors, objects, quotes, and symbolic words. These personal elements will be subtly integrated into the posture, clothing, or surrounding environment of each figure to evoke familiarity and emotional depth.

Custom Elements Per Figure
Each child will be represented through a custom, symbolic detail that identifies their essence:

A signature color that evokes their energy or personal taste.
A miniature object or accessory sculpted with care—a guitar, a book, a surfboard, a flower—intertwined naturally within the figure’s form.
A favorite quote or meaningful word, hand-carved or painted into the figure’s base or attire.
These details are not merely decorative—they serve as emotional anchors and storytelling devices that connect the viewer to the soul of each character.

Installation & Display
Designed as a tabletop or shelf-mounted piece, this sculpture will have a clean, balanced footprint (42” x 12”) ideal for a prominent display area in a home or office. The layout encourages the viewer to walk along or around the sculpture, offering new perspectives and connections from each angle.
