Proposal for Mural Art Installation

Thank you for the opportunity to provide a quotation. We are thrilled to offer the following proposal for your new project, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, in collaboration with INK & ORO Creative Interior Designers. Our goal is to create a vibrant, modern, abstract mural that transforms the space into an inspiring, artsy atmosphere for all visitors.

Scope of Work:

We will be creating murals for four spaces, totaling approximately 1,118 Sq Ft:

• Mural at Lobby: 368 Sq Ft
• Mural on Column: 195 Sq Ft
• Mural at Linear Lobby: 197 Sq Ft
• Mural at Fitness/Spin Studio: 358 Sq Ft

Total Area: 1,118 Sq Ft
Approximate Cost per Sq Ft: $26

Total Price for the Project: $28,935

Quoted Price Includes:

• COI (Certificate of Insurance): General liability coverage
• Tax: 6.5%
• Services and Materials:
• Painting, Design, Sketch, Assistants, Transportation
• Materials (Paint, Brushes, Tape, Sealer, Plastic, etc.)
• Equipment (Scaffolding or Scissor Lift)

Payment Terms:

• 50% Deposit to Start the Project: $14,467.50 (non-refundable)
• 50% Upon Completion: $14,467.50

Timeline:

• The project is estimated to begin 1 month after design/sketch approval. Tentative start dates are between Oct./ Nov.
• The total project duration will depend on the site preparation and approval process. Aproxx. estimate 1/2 Months 

Booking & Validity:

• 50% of the quote or a non-refundable design deposit of $1,500 is required to secure the project start date.
• Design Deposit: $800 will be credited towards the mural cost if the decision is made to move forward with the mural (The design deposit is waived if the entire project is confirmed).
• Quotation Validity: This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date of submission.

Obligations of the Artist and Client:

Artist's Responsibilities:
a) Purchase all necessary materials for the creation of the artwork.
b) Be responsible for rental equipment costs.
c) Create the artwork, or oversee subcontractors if required.

Client's Responsibilities:
d) Hire and compensate additional labor for wall preparation.
e) Secure necessary permits for the lawful execution of the project (Artist is not responsible for this).
f) Pay additional costs of $150/hour for any significant changes requested beyond the initial design. The client is allowed 2/3 changes in the visual proposal.
g) Any changes deemed necessary by the artist to improve the composition or color will be at no extra charge to the client.

Cancellation Policy:
If the client cancels the project after the initial 50% payment, the deposit will be non-refundable. This fee compensates the artist for time, scheduling, and preparatory work undertaken.

Final Acceptance:
By proceeding with payment, the client agrees to all terms outlined above.
