The work of Daniela Sanchez Vegas proposes a symbolic return to that origin, to the seed, in order to recognize the visible and invisible bonds that connect human beings with other forms of life and with the materials that nature places at our disposal. From this perspective, matter acquires a dimension that transcends its practical function: it contains history, energy, and the possibility of transformation.

This relationship becomes especially meaningful in Sanchez Vegas’s use of recovered materials and objects that have lost their original purpose. By incorporating them into the creative process, the artist does not attempt to literally return them to nature, but rather to resignify them. What might have become waste finds a second existence and is transformed into an aesthetic and symbolic presence.-
